Charlotte watched them dancing from her bench. It made her smile, watching the young people dance. She remembered when she and George used to go dancing on Friday nights. That made her smile, too, though it was bittersweet. She missed George. She missed dancing, too, but her body wasn't what it used to be. She hummed along to the tune, some modern pop song that she had to admit was catchy. Her hand tapped her thigh along with the rhythm and she nodded her head with the beat. One of the young girls looked at her and smiled and Charlotte laughed as the girl spun around her partner, her skirt swirling around her legs. Charlotte didn't mind being old. There was still joy all around her if she looked for it.
