Zoe was a bit of a daydreamer. She wasn't absent-minded, necessarily, but she did get distracted easily. Her train of thought ran on several tracks and skipped back and forth like a rollercoaster. Just now she was humming a song. She couldn't remember all the words, but she remembered when she first heard it with her friend Jane. They were eating ice cream. Zoe really wanted ice cream. She wondered what flavors they had today? She picked up her toothbrush and put a bit of toothpaste on it, then looked at herself in the mirror. She stared for a bit, then made a face at herself. She giggled, then put the toothbrush down on the edge of the sink and gave herself bunny ears. That was hilarious. She wandered out of the bathroom, leaving the toothbrush where it lay and the lights blazing. "Okay, mom! Ready to go!"
